Sister Lakes Corridor Improvement Authority (CIA) is thrilled to announce the sale of engraved bricks. These bricks will be permanently installed to commemorate the memories of the Sister Lakes Community and supporting areas.

For nearly 10 years the Sister Lakes CIA has been planning for a bike/walking trail through the Sister Lakes Business Corridor. Funding for the bike/walking trail has been largely through income from the Sister Lakes Triathlons and community donations. As we move very close to beginning construction on the trail, we are looking to put in a trail head!
 

The Sister Lakes Trailhead is possible due to a land partnership with the Sister Lakes Lion’s Club. The Sister Lakes Trail Head is planned to include a parking area and pavilion with donation bricks along the outer edges of the pavilion pad. This design provides the unique opportunity for the Sister Lakes Community to “Set Your Foundation In Sister Lakes” and pay tribute to your love of the community, friends and family.

With this being the first year to leave your mark, we would like to offer the opportunity to put your stamp in the community forever. We are offering two different sized bricks. The first is a 4x8 brick for $100 that may include up to three lines of text, 18 characters per line. The second size option we have is an 8x8 brick. This brick is $200 and allows up to six lines of text, 18 characters per line. A donation certificate is also available for an additional $10 which is suitable for home or office display.

100% of the proceeds from this fund raiser will go to the development of the Sister Lakes Trailhead. The trailhead will be the focal point of future improvements at Lion’s Park and will be the beginning of the Sister Lakes Bike & Walking trail that will connect to the Van Buren Trail and Paw Paw Trail.
Development of the Sister Lakes Trailhead is planned to begin in the fall of 2020 and spring of 2021.
